Alumni are the real wealth of any institution. Alumni are the students graduated from the institution, former members of the college. For any institution alumni are keys to its growth. We, at St. Vincent Pallotti College, are always focused on giving a wide experience to our students, in every aspect of the life. And I think, the success of any institution can be measured by the contribution, the alumni make in their personal life as well as in national life.
So, Department of Computer Science Organized a Alumni talk on 17th Sept 2019.The alumni invited was Ms. Kusum Nishad , a PGDCA student of 2107-18 batch and is perusing her higher studies now. When she was a student she was sincere, dedicated and hard working. She is full of enthusiasm and always believes in growth and committed efforts.
At this event Principal of the college Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri, Asst. Administrator Fr. Julius Xess, HOD of the Department Mrs. Pooja Rathi and all the staff members were present. Program started with a welcome note by HOD, Mrs. Pooja Rathi . Principal Sir welcomed her with a floral bouquet and Asst. Administrator presented a book as a token of love to her. Principal sir also addressed the gathering and focused on the importance of alumni.
The purpose of this talk is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the general welfare of the organization. Alumni talk exist to support the organization’s goals, and to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community, and the organization.
After that Ms. Kusum shared her experiences. She also told students that, it was a great time, spent in SVPC. St. Vincent Pallotti college has wonderful faculties and are very cooperative. The relation between teachers and students is very cordial, which gave an opportunity to excel further. She added that one year not only helped her broaden her horizon in the area of knowledge but also helped her discover more about herself. Apart from academic, department offers various opportunities to enjoy our college days which was attracting the students towards college many of the time.
All the students expressed their views that they are very happy and satisfied, and asked her many question related to further studies and job opportunities. Program ended with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Abhilasha Khare.
